A few highlights to look out for...

Hartlepool on Film

Tuesday 17th April at 2pm & 7pm – Town Hall Theatre,  Raby road.

Following the success of the previous showing in 2011 this is a rare opportunity to see some further newly discovered films relating to Hartlepool from the vaults of the Northern Region Film & Television Archive (NRFTA).

Film will include material recently donated to NRFTA by the Hartlepool Borough Council’s Cultural Services Section along with footage from both BBC Look North and Tyne Tees Television.  Highlights include Hartlepool’s historic shipbuilding past and amalgamation of Hartlepool and West Hartlepool in 1967 to the world-famous cartoon character Andy Capp.

Circus of Horrors.. Freaks & Feathers

Thursday 19th April at 7.30pm – Town Hall Theatre,  Raby road.

The Freaky element of the show consists of the Royal Family of Freaks, led by Circus of Horrors undead Ringmaster Dokto Haze. The Circus element comes from the flying & revolving Reverend, The Bizarre Divas - The Slice Girls, led by Anastasia IV. As seen on Britain’s Got Talent. ‘I loved it’. Simon Cowell
